Brendan Gallagher has concussion after being driven into the boards
Another hit, from the dangerous hit department. Also, from the big shock department, another dirty hit from a Philadelphia Flyer. Seems to be a re-occurring theme in the NHL, another dirty hit by a Philadelphia Flyer. Don't expect the Flyers Luke Schenn to get any form of supplemental discipline for this hit on Brendan Gallagher.

Brayden Schenn is the first player suspended
Well that didn't take lone. Just three days into the lockout shortened 2013 season, Philadelphia Flyers forward Brayden Schenn is the first player suspended by Brendan Shannahan. Actually, I have no problem with the suspension and this suspension should set the tone going forward.
After 247 days, the @nhlshanahan account is back in use. The lockout is officially over!
