Analysis
While it is nice to be in the top 20 again, it is way too early to really make much in the way of inferences about team rankings. It will be interesting to see how the teams end up after the holiday tourneys. I personally think DU is the best team in the country right now.

Analysis
These guys power ranking is a joke. I mean Gladdy has gotten better on the podcasts and on the ESPN chat but but come on. Seriously all of these polls. We are to believe that Princeton is the 6th ranked team in the nation? Cornell at 9th this is the same team that UND shredded on on Friday night a few weeks back. What are they going to do when both of these teams are bounced in the first round again?

  1. What do you have against Wisconsin? Can't even highlight us w/ the rest of the WCHA?

Nice sweep this weekend, the season ending series in Madison could be huge.

  2. Sorry must have been a Freudian slip, I fixed them now... :)

  3. I don't know why ECAC teams get so much love in the polls given they start late and have a fairly weak schedule compared to teams in the WCHA and (gasp) Hockey East :-).

I do, however, wish that there were more intraconference matchups between Hockey East and the WCHA.... and the CCHA now that it's mentioned, because they have the "top" two teams.

Here's hoping that BU gets a shot at Denver when they head there for the Denver cup.
