Mr Elbow Dustin Brown says that Joe Thornton is a dirty player

So, L.A. Kings forward Dustin Brown, AKA Mr. Elbow is calling Sharks forward Joe Thornton a dirty player. Sure he got run last night and check with a dirty leg check, but Karma is a bitch right? This is comedy gold, this is coming from a player that has several questionable plays a week. All you have to do is go to Google Dustin Brown and dirty hit. How many times has he hit someone with one of his patented, lead with his elbow hits? Many... So, when I hear him make this statement I have to laugh.

"Mr Elbow" Dustin Brown suffers what some would call karma when he's gets kneed by Jumbo Joe Thornton. The call on the play, was a two-minute kneeing penalty on Thornton.

Jonathan Toews Short Handed Goal vs. Anaheim Ducks

Martin Havlat injured on line change

Former Wild and current San Jose Shark forward Martin Havlat has been known as being a soft player that get injured a lot, but this is just a freak accident. Havlat was traded to San Jose in the trade that brought Dany Heatley to the Wild. We hope that Havlat isn't hurt too bad.

Check out this really sick goalies save by former Badger goalie Brian Elliott on San Jose Shark Dan Boyle. I am sure that will probably be a candidate to be on of the top ten saves of the week. Elliot was making his season debut for the Blues and stopped 34/36 shots to give the Blues the win.

Sharks Joe Thornton is hit by the Canucks' Raffi Torres

This is the hit that injured Sharks star forward Joe Thornton... Not much you can say about the hit, it was a clean shoulder to shoulder check by Canucks' hack Raffi Torres. According to the Sharks head Coach Todd McLellan there is no update on Joe Thornton at this time. Being it’s a knock out game for the San Jose Sharks, you have to think that unless something is broken, Joe Thornton will probably be in the line up for game five.

Joe Thornton should be ashamed of himself with this shameful dive.

h/t to Puck Daddy.. This is absolutely shameful and unbelievable, the league officials are starting to look like a joke when they let this stuff go on... Joe Thornton should be fined by the NHL for embelishment and should have been given a 10 minute misconduct for this despicable behavior. I mean seriously, are we to believe that little love tap from Johan Franzen would cause a big man like Joe Thornton to crumble to the ice like he had been shot. In looking at the video I am not sure Franzen even touched him. If I was Franzen I would be upset as well.
