GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The Ralph Engelstad Arena has settled its lawsuit against a Canadian company over improper installation of its ice-making equipment. Details of the settlement announced Tuesday were not released. The arena's attorney, Pat Morley, has said the ice-making equipment installed on its main and Olmypic-size rinks by CIMCO in 2001 was inefficient, leading to higher energy and maintenance costs. The arena's manager, Jody Hodgson, says CIMCO will reinstall the ice slab on the main rink. The repairs are slated to begin April 15 and take about three months. No change will be made to the Olympic-size rink. The arena is home to University of North Dakota hockey.
