This is the types of hits that the NHL is trying to eliminate hits to the head apparently Glass didn't get the memo. I applaud former Fighting Sioux Matt Green for stepping in and challenging tough guy Tanner Glass who has been in 15 fights this season.

I don't think the intent was there. Halpern was low. Also, the impact was in the side, not in the numbers. This strikes me as being more like the Marvin-Geoffrion hit, where the guy was making a hockey play, but it looked dirty because of where the victim's head was.
