The German scores; Bruins win 2-1 at Fenway.
I thought I would include this video of the goal that helped the Bruins beat the Flyers in the Holiday Classic. I thought it was a nice goal to end a relatively boring game. What an effort by Patrice Bergeron to get the puck on net where it was tipped into the Flyer net by Marco Sturm. Its plays like this; is why Bergeron is going to be on the Canadian Olympic team.

I agree, it wasn't the most exciting game. The physical play really wasn't allowing for much offensive prowess in this one. It was still the best Winter Classic so far...it just gets better and better every year if you ask me.
ReplyDeleteYeah it was one of the better outdoor games because they didn't have to remove the snow off the ice half way through the period all game. I love Fenway Park.
