This is a fight that happened this past weekend between Former SCSU Husky Tim Conboy and former MTU Husky John Scott. What in the heck was Tim Conboy thinking? Scott treated Conboy like a rag doll and worked Conboy like he was a punching bag.
Jon Scott put on of the most one sided ass whippings I've ever seen in a hockey fight on Ryan Hale a few years back at The Ralph. I'm pretty sure Hale picked the fight, too. It was so one sided that it was funny. If memory serves, the year before, David Hale handed out a beating to long blonde haired guy from Canisius. Also so one sided that it was funny.
There isn't enough fighting in college hockey anymore. One of the absolute best hockey fights I ever saw was the 2003 Hall of Fame game with UND vs. UMD. Mike Prpich and Marco Peluso absolutely went after each other, it was like Ali-Frazier, just awesome. My wife has a great picture of them squaring off, I might have to be burried with that. Just awesomeness.
The Frank Udovick - Josh Priewe fight is also legendary for those of us in Beaver country. And where would the Gophers have been without Matt DeMarchi.
