I am not much of a Islanders fan but this is a really nice goal by former Golden Gopher Kyle Okposo. That is a power forward move. This kid could still be playing in college if he hadn't left 1 1/2 years into his college career.
krangodance, That was interesting that he would call him that name, I am sure that he has a piece of paper in the booth that has the proper names and how to pronounce them. That was a great goal.
it was definitely a strong move. not neccessarily a pretty goal, but a heads-up, aggressive goal for sure.
i'm glad he didn't stick around with the gophers. that might have been all they needed to be the team that suddenly has a huge, "devoted" fan base.
funny how sioux fans come in pretty much the same numbers no matter what, but gopher fans are about ten times more prevelant when they're having a good season.
i guess i shouldn't talk, i'm a total fair-weather fan when it comes to the twins and although i'm a devoted vikings fan, there sure are a lot of only-when-they're-winning fans in the vikings camp.
