Marian Gaborik's injury list.
Here's what teams will have to ponder when they think about when offering oft-injured Wild free agent Marian Gaborik a contract. These are the injuries that Gabby has suffered over the course of his NHL career. Gaborik has played in 502 (219 goals - 218 assists - 437 pts)

So he's been in the NHL...8 seasons?
ReplyDelete8x82=656 games possible, and he's played 502?
Of course, you know that since his hip surgery has happened on both sides he's going to tear it up for some non-Wild team next season.
I would like to see him play for the Wild, he isn't the type of player to play for the B's. Not in Claud's system.
ReplyDeleteI am worried about the B's Signing Kessel.
ReplyDeleteGaborik would not be good in the playoffs. He's not that kind of player, nor would he be able stay healthy for even one playoff game. There are better players, move on.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. Just awesome.
ReplyDeleteAs a Wild Fan I don't want to see Gabby leave, he is like the first Wild Player, but all things must come to an end.
ReplyDeleteI know this is kind of crazy and I am unsure if Detroit has enough money under the cap but I could see Gabby pulling the old one year in Detroit deal, to try and win a cup and up his value for next offseason. If he could play a full season (Or at least 70 games) and put up good numbers his value will skyrocket back up to where it was before this last season, and then he can cash in next summer.
ReplyDeleteAlso he may win a cup in Detroit and he gets to play with his best buddy, Marian Hossa (Assuming rumors of Hossa resigning in Detroit are true). Otherwise I see the LA King smaking him a legitimate offer.
