National Hockey Center to get a face lift.

Props to Amanda Kosior for sending me the pictures for the new improvements to the National Hockey Center. I have to admit that these are some sweet improvements that will add to the fan's hockey experience at SCSU. Hockey fans from around the WCHA affectionately call the National Hockey Center the Concrete Center for it's bland and some what generic appearance, these improvements will really spruce up the place.

  2. Thanks for putting up these pictures, they prompted me to head to the Huskies website, where they have more pictures and a little "flight" through the "new" NHEC (National Hockey and Events Center). I'm excited to see how it turns out!!!

Donna, perhaps you missed the concession stands at the NHC since you were so busy watching your team lose this year?

  4. Um yeah, I've gone to the NHC for the past 8 years now and each and every time they've had the built in concession stands open with a variety of things and then free standing ones with a variety of things. I guess I didn't realize that these aren't "concession stands?!?" What the hell do people want, an omelette station?!?

    Wow.....anything to bash St. Cloud.
