Mike Commodore rocks Sean Avery...
I saw this hit last night as I was watching sports center in the bar. Check out this monster hit by former Fighting Sioux hockey player Mike Commodore as he lights up Dallas punk Sean Avery. Nice... You wonder if the people in Columbus are going to be questioning the acquistion of Mike Commodore anymore?

Everyone loves watching Avery get rocked! How about the biggest Sioux surprise. Last night all the press in the St Louis area was about how great Berglund, Perron, Pietrangelo, and Oshie are going to be. Then this unkown kid named Chris Porter walks into the building and puts on a physical display! Getting his 1st NHL point in his 1st NHL game. Taking 2nd in minutes and shifts for rookies. (Oshie 1st in minutes and shifts) All in all, I preached over and over to everyone on those message boards Porter is a Machine! He didn't win all them Ironman Awards back at UND for nothing, and how Paul Kariya beat him in the dryland training is beyond me?(PK might be on something! lol)

On a sour note. Sioux are on a 2-game losing streak (in NCAA ;)), should bounce back tonight though, as Walski will get the D straightened out.
I agree on Porter, I thought he might have a chance of making the Blues, he is the defintion of grit.
ReplyDeleteI think if UND doesn't get it together Jess Meyers might end up looking like a genius. The goaltending needs to be better.
