Fighting Sioux forward T.J. Oshie was named to the West First Team All-American team. It is a nice honor for gutty Sioux forward. There was one freshman and one Sophomore on the West All-American teams the rest were juniors and seniors.

Big shock Kevin Porter from Michigan won the Hobey Baker Memorial Award. Duh, we all knew Kevin Porter would win it back in January. Porter was the best player on one of the best lines in college hockey.
JPL was robbed (even Zatkoff could make that claim with a straight face). Lerg? YGTBFKM!!!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I take back all of my spirited defense of LetsGoMavs after seeing her earlier posts. She sure as hell wanted to see her Mavs in the NCAA tourney, even if they would have been bounced in game 1. Davis may need some training in the tact department, but his basic premise appears to be spot on (short of the physical aspect, obviously!)...
Sioux_me - wow, glad to see you think that if someone has a different opinion than you it's ok to smack them. Good to know. I'll be sure to let you know when I'm in GF so you can come up and smack me yourself.

ReplyDeleteLetsGoMavs -- you need to bone up on your English reading skills, too -- where did I ever say it was OK to smack someone with a different opinion? In fact, if you read my post, I stated that Davis getting physical w/you was obviously NOT appropriate in any way. BTW, that is something I posted emphatically and repeatedly in your defense on your blog, if you will recall. I'm used to people not liking the Fighting Sioux simply because they wish their team was more like them -- many Mavs fans included. Did you mean to say we "really are living in the BETTER barn?" You've got us there, I guess!
