Friday Night at the Fights. Sioux and Mavs Goon it up.

Ole Time Hockey

My advice to the Sioux players is if your going to get kicked outof a game for fighting please fight, take a page from Prp's or Kaips book, if your going to pay for it, make it count because your going to be sitting out anyways. I respect Lee for not turtling, but you got into a fight throw some punches. don't look for the ref to bail you out.

Wearing my green shades I believe the Maverick Players they should have been given instigator penatlies for starting this fight(s). Whats up with them pulling off the Sioux player's helments. That must be something they learned in juniors.

  1. Goonster! I believe that the "hockey etiquette" for the players is that if you're going to "bat around and talk crap" be ready to take your helmets off. Your player that wanted to fight with Tyree was a total punk for not taking the helmet off.

Also, from what the internet feed showed, the guy fighting with Bruess is the guy that started it all.

Take off the green tinted glasses already!! :)

  5. Here's a little write up in yesterday's paper about UND's penalty box. Thought you may enjoy it:

Oh, and those neg. reps on USCHO are annoying. Last week someone was commenting on how if you say something about SCSU or it's fans, they bombard you with them. Yep, yesterday I said they're not that bright and bam! 5 neg. reps. Geez!! All not signed of course.

  6. That's really pathetic LGM. The Mav's players didn't take their helmets off prior to the scuffle so why in the world would the Sioux want to do that?

    Grow up.

  7. Speaking of growing up, quit whining because the student's make fun of the players in the penalty box.

There's security in the box and if the students step over the line they are ejected.

  8. Whistler: Did anyone say I was whining about this? I was just sharing the article with Goon because I thought he would enjoy it.

In fact, I don't think that the article was even whining about it...just giving the readers something new to know about Maverick Hockey and it's road trips. I personally haven't been to the REA so I found it interesting and funny. I'm always interested in hearing the comments between players and what other student sections do, as I find it VERY funny.

So, no whining here...just sharing an article with the Goonster.

Goonster- seriously, what's up with some of your fans?!? They're SO defensive all the time!
