Season over as Bucky Wins the NCAA title.

The college hockey season is now officially over as the Wisconsin BADgers have won the NCAA title their teams 6th. The BADgers beat the upstart Bostn College Eagles 2-1 in what I would classify as a ho hum game. Not real exciting but not boring by any stretch of the imagination. I am torn because I felt it should have been my team in the end that was playing the BADgers. However, it was not to be. Dive Robbie Earl Dive was named the Frozen Fous most outstanding player, that in its self is a disgrace Earl did score a goal but should have been given a couple of unsportman like conducts for his diving exhibition. Also, I believe that Brian Elliot was the reason the BADgers won the game.

  1. I would agree with 100 percent. I think the NHL will fix his diving problem soon especially if he goes to the Leaf and Pat Quinn is still the coach. Pat is a no non-sense coach and would curve his antics really fast.

  2. Thanks for the link.

Yep, no doubt Elliott was the MVP. You've got to admit, that Earl goal was a beauty.

I'm already looking forward to next season, when the Sioux will no doubt beat the everlasting daylights out of us once again.

  3. Oh I don't know about that, UMD has some good young players, too early to tell about next season.

  4. Man, I guess the "BADgers" were pretty bad, too bad North Dakota couldn't even make it to the finals to show how much more exciting they play that Wisconsin

  5. Play on Words, I actually got that from the Goofer fans. Actually I think Wisconsin won it because they were the best team in the NCAA this season. Sure it would have been nice to see another epic battle between the Sioux and the BADgers but it was not meant to be. Enjoy the moment because the offseason always breaks college hockey fans heart.
