Today is the day, it's boxing day in Canada and the World Junior Championship finally kicks off at noon. I am sure that most of us are used to the USA vs. Canada game being later in the tourney, but we get the matchup right a way. First thing out of the gates we have the USA vs. Canada.
I had a person or two ask me if there was a online broadcast, here it is. Click on the link to the online broad cast for USA vs. Canada. Here's a link that doesn't require your credit card.
Dave Starman and Steve Mears will have the call of the game on the NHL channel. Most of you will recognize Starman from the CBS Sport Net.
Here are a couple of links to get yourself in the mood.

2018 WJC in Buffalo, With a Possible Outdoor Game
Buffalo expected to host 2018 World Junior Hockey Championship, with possible outdoor game. https://t.co/Rp58bWCD8c pic.twitter.com/GIyrPoPlFc— theScore (@theScore) December 3, 2015
This is getting silly. Now, they want to take one of top sporting events in hockey and make it a spectacle. Why, ruin something that is already awesome. In my opinion, there are way too many outdoor games. In all levels of hockey.
Why not just have all the game use the 3-on-3 format, too?

Round two of the Hatfields and McCoys... Should be a great game. Nice to know they will be the first North Dakotas to win two Olympic medals.
On Thursday, Jocelyne and Monique Lamoureux will become the first North Dakotans ever to win two Olympic medals.
