A friend of mine sent me the details on two of our new rivals ticket purchasing details.

Miami University Hockey Tickets

Goggin Ice Center..Relatively new renovated arena (2012) with two NHL-size ice sheets.  The 3,200 seat arena has only 2,800 lower bowl seats, 102 club seats, four “opera” boxes and six suites.  Apparently they also sell 800 standing room only seats to bring the total arena capacity to an even 4,000. 

Single game tickets go on sale September 10, 2013 at 10 am for “Red and White Club” members and on September 11, 2013 at 10 am for the general public.  The seating chart indicates all single game seats are behind one end in the corners.   The Miami University box office indicates the tickets with seats go fast on the day of the sale.  Reserved seats are $25, and standing room tickets are $18, with discounts for youth and exhibition games.  Tickets can be bought online or by calling the box office at 1-866-684-2957 or 513-529-4295. Western Michigan Hockey Tickets...

They have single game seats go on sale ($30) the Monday before the North Dakota (12-2-13) series at 9 am.  Unknown how many seats would be available since they have a rather small arena and they also sell a “Pick 8” game package that includes the North Dakota games ahead of time.  They also have standing room only tickets which the box office tells me go on sale after the available seats are sold.  They are $16 each.

UND Hockey: Single-game Men’s and Women’s Hockey Tickets on Sale Aug. 15

For those wondering about single game tickets there is some good news for you. 

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The University of North Dakota Athletics Department announced today that single-game tickets for men’s and women’s hockey will go on sale on Thursday, Aug. 15 beginning at 10 a.m. Central.

Additionally, UND Champions Club members can participate in a pre-sale for men's hockey single-game tickets on Wednesday, Aug. 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Nearly 800 single-game seats are available for every men's hockey home game on the 2013-14 schedule, with additional seats available for exhibition games and holiday series. Single-game men’s hockey tickets cost $40 (adult) and $25 (youth) for Friday games and $45 (adult) and $25 (youth) for Saturday games. Exhibition games cost $29 (adult) and $19 (youth).

All single-game women’s hockey tickets cost $7 (adult) and $5 (youth).

Although men's hockey season tickets have once again sold out, fans can add their name to the season-ticket waiting list by joining the Champions Club and making a refundable $100 ticket deposit. Nearly 40 accounts remain on the waiting list. Over half of the accounts on the waiting list were offered season tickets this summer. Fans who are on the waiting list can participate in a pre-sale for single-game tickets on Tuesday Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Waiting list and Champions Club members will be e-mailed a passcode and instructions prior to the appropriate pre-sale date.

Tickets can be purchased at the UND Box Office at Ralph Engelstad Arena or via Ticketmaster.com.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The University of North Dakota Athletics Department announced today several key dates for men's hockey single-game ticket and student season ticket sales, as well as women's hockey single-game and season tickets.

The season-ticket lottery for UND students begins on Monday, Sept. 10. Students interested in purchasing season tickets can get all pertinent information via www.facebook.com/NoDakNation and www.twitter.com/nodak_nation.

Single-game tickets for men's and women's hockey will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. Champions Club members can participate in a pre-sale for men's single-game tickets on Thursday, Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
