Philadelphia Flyers rookie Bobby Brink was a healthy scratch for the past three games. On Sunday, he returned to the Flyers lineup and made the most of his opportunity.
At the 1:05 mark of the second period, Columbus Bluejackets forward Kirill Marchenko was assessed a two-minute minor penalty for tripping Flyers defenseman Travis Sanheim. The Flyers wasted no time; six seconds into the power play, Brink would score his 4th goal of the season to give the Flyers a 2-1 lead. For those keeping track at home, that's his fourth goal of the season.Bobby Brink will be a healthy scratch Saturday. John Tortorella wants to get him back in, but also wants to be fair to his team as it’s on a three-game win streak.
