Fighting Hawks not Flying at Center Ice
The 2016-17 college hockey season is almost upon us. Finally, the ice is going back in the Ralph and the #neverfightinghawks fans will be happy. At least for this season, there will not be a Fighting Hawks logo at center ice this season.

You mean the hockey team doesn't want to offend the people supporting them? (Plus they are smart enough to know it's a crummy name and logo.)
ReplyDeleteHow about we have a fair vote of the stakeholders to decide to go with North Dakota versus "Fighting Hawks?"
If I had to guess, I would say that the Interlocking ND will be gone next season. UND is dropping the symbol starting in 2107-18.
DeleteAnother great marketing move.
