Kucherov gets Kronwalled
The hit of the night. Detroit Red Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall steamrolls Tampa Bay forward Nikita Kucherov. Get off the track if you don't want to get run over. I guess you could make the argument that Kronwall hits Kucherov in the chops with his elbow. That being said, I see nothing wrong with this hit.

I agree based on the rule book that is a 5 min for sure. He left his feet and primary contact was to the head. I do not think they will suspend him though since it is the playoffs.
ReplyDeleteBefore I made that comment there was another comment saying suspension. I agreed with the 5 min major but, not the suspension part.
