More on Edina's Anthony Walsh.

Earlier this fall, I profiled Anthony Walsh who is a hockey player from Edina, Minnesota.

Anthony is going to be a senior this winter for the Edina Hornets. Currently, Walsh is playing Major Midgets hockey for the Minnesota Blades which is a Triple AAA team.

Walsh competed in the High Performance Hockey League Showcase in Detroit, Michigan this past weekend. The Minnesota Blades swept the 3 games that they played in and Walsh a hat trick and an assist on the weekend.

In my opinion, I think that Walsh is developing into a gifted power forward. While Walsh statistically might that started his junior season with the Edina Hornets slowly, he has gotten hot since the Minnesota State High School Tourney. I think it will be interesting to see how his senior season with Edina goes.

I really like this goal, while being slashed on the back of the legs and the defender actually breaks his sticks on the back of Walsh's leg, the young forward is undeterred and scores.
