Donn aka Sioux7 and I are taking a much needed break before the college hockey season takes center stage. This week we will leave after the UND and Manitoba game to hunt some green head mallards and decompress. Personally, I think that’s a code word for slacking off and do absolutely nothing. Hopefully there isn’t a blizzard while we are up north and let’s hope that we finally have some good weather.
Next Friday, the University of North Dakota will play the United States Development Team Under 18 team from Ann Arbor, Michigan – Game time is 7:37 PM. This game will also be on Fox College Sports. This will give UND fans their first opportunity to see future UND Hockey player Keaton Thompson who is from Devils Lake, ND and wear number six for the U-18 team.

I don’t know if any of us have gotten used to the new logo at center ice just yet. It’s going to take a while to get used to it.
