As a Bruins fan this makes me smile because I like the toughness that the Bruins displayed last night. Dallas ended up on the short end of the stick as they now have a beat up lineup after last night's game.
ESPN/Dallas.com --- Thursday night's game against Boston was costly for the Dallas Stars.
They placed forward Adam Burish on injured reserve because of a facial injury Friday and recalled forward Francis Wathier from the Texas Stars of the AHL.
Burish was injured in a fight with Boston defenseman Andrew Ference, continued to play and eventually left the game.
Forward Krys Barch is also out with what is being called a facial injury and Ray Sawada is out with a shoulder injury. Sawada also suffered a broken nose after being hit in the head by Boston forward Daniel Paille, who had a disciplinary hearing with the league Friday morning and was suspended four games.
