This was a hit from the North Dakota High school hockey game between Grand Forks Central High and Bottineau High School on the first day of the North Dakota High School hockey game. There was no penalty on the play. Matt Walters did not play again during the tourney. All right all you referees at home would you call a penalty on the play?

ReplyDeleteIf he was a captain and Hobey Baker possibility suspend him for the last two regular season games and all of playoffs. They can then appeal and get it down to three games.

ReplyDeleteIf not, then it was just a vicious but clean hit from the TV angle shown. There was no apparent contact with the head.
I'd've loved to have a camera angle from the opposite side of the rink.
