  3. Man, Hockey East sure is in a down year, aren't they? BC is really the only decent team in the entire conference.

  4. I'm sure just about any WCHA team is licking their chops at the opportunity to take on Yale.

Beavers down two spots to #8. I did not realize they lost to Omaha on Saturday. Sheesh, they only managed 18 shots on goal the entire game and went 0 for 5 on the power play.

    CC is on life support.

  5. how about the possibility of a #1 seed being in a region that has BSU as a #2 seed. I know Husky fans would love a Saint Paul regional with BSU as teh #2 seed. Although UND and SCSU in the Saint Paul regional woudl be fun as well! I just do not want to get sent to Worster, considering BC will have to be placed there for attendance reasons.

  6. I used to live in Ayer Mass and that is 30 east of Worchester, Mass which is pronounded Wooster. What a dump of a city, I hope the Sioux don't get sent there.

  7. I don't want to go to the Denver regional.

Who's hosting the various regionals? Those schools are the ones that are guaranteed to play close to home providing they qualify.

  8. Yeah I would rather like to see someone else knock Denver University off.

  9. That's the problem, Whistler. Notre Dame hosts Ft. Wayne, Minnesota hosts St. Paul, Holy Cross hosts Worcester and RPI hosts Albany. So....might not come into play this year unless those teams win their respective conference tournaments. I obviously want Miami in Ft. Wayne, so I'm hoping Notre Dame flames out early so there's little chance of us being sent elsewhere because if the Irish make it, they'd be a 4 seed and we technically couldn't be sent there.

  10. Bracketology has it spread out like this, based upon several factors including current PWR, balance and attendance...Why would they have a #2 seen, ND, starting against a #1 seed Miami? At least have Yale vs ND and Vermont vs Miami in the opening round.....

    West Regional:

    Minnesota-Duluth vs. Bemidji State
Michigan State vs. St. Cloud State

    Midwest Regional:

    North Dakota vs. Miami
    Vermont vs. Yale

    East Regional:

    Massachusetts vs. Wisconsin
    Cornell vs. Boston College

    Northeast Regional:

    RIT vs. Denver
    New Hampshire vs. Colorado College

  11. My mistake...I see now that Moy is referring to the Feb 17 PWR rankings where ND was tied at #13.

  13. Swaindog, it looks as if none of the hosts are going to be in the NCAA tourney this season.
