Yeah I have to admit that I am enjoying last night’s melt down at the Ralph Englestad Arena being replayed this morning in the Twin Cities media as their beloved Golden
Last night was the perfect night, before Sioux fans could take their seat; Danny Kristo was scoring the game winning goal on Alex Kangas. The Sioux never looked back and the Sioux off to the races as they made the Gophers look like they were a bunch of road cones/pylons on I-94.

Didn't see any of it, but the way it sounds by reading all the articles & box scores, it was one-sided. I was at the longest hockey game I've ever attended in person last night: semifinals of the MN boys state high school tournamnet, Minnetonka over Hill Murray in 5 overtimes. Evidently Mankato had quite a comeback as well on SCSU. Huskies were up 3-0 in the second and 4-2 in the third but Mankato rallied to tie it with 0.3 left on the clock and then win 20 seconds into OT. Niagara shocked Bemidji State in the CHA tournament too, that throws a curveball into the at-large field of 16!
ReplyDeleteI really like the "Breaking down the numbers" that's been on here lately, keep it up!
ReplyDeleteHow about: Sioux put Gophers back in there hole!
ReplyDeleteWow what a game. Great clip add of all the goals. Goon make sure you put that on your facebook. I want to add it to mine as well.
Just think....The Sioux can send them home for good tonight!
GO SIOUX!!!
Next weekend when the Sioux roll into town I bet the local Twin Cities media isn't there nor will they make much effort to publish anything prior to Thursday. If the Gophers basketball team makes the NCAA look for them to recieve a boat load of press.
ReplyDeleteHello empty seats.
