This was the hit that facilitated some discussion after the Bruins and Flames game this past weekend. Bruins defenseman Johnny Boychuck laid a vicious elbow on former Wisconsin Badger Rene Bourque, Boychuck was given a five minute major penalty and a game misconduct but he was not suspended by the NHL for his hit, there were some that thought he should have been.
