Analysis: I am actually surprised that UND kept the 3rd place ranking in both polls after coughing up and losing a 2 goal lead albeit the second UMD goal shouldn't have counted.

  1. The WCHA is beginning to flex its muscles again on a national scale. 6 ranked teams, and all 6 are in the top 14 of the pairwise rankings too. And guess what? They all play each other this weekend too! Huge complications in the standings are forthcoming. Bucky invades the REA. Since that building has opened, the Badgers are the only team in the WCHA to post a winning record there.

  2. I don't think it is that the WCHA is really good, I think everyone else really sucks.

  3. The numbers don't lie there Charles. Raw stats tell the whole story, look them up for yourself.
