There must be a league wide conspiracy against the Detroit Redwing this season because this is the second goal in about two weeks that should have counted but didn't. I don’t know how they can say that Cleary is interfering with the goalie in this situation. I think this goal looked like it should have counted, what do you think?[props]
You know, I guess the argument of the goalie could not move foward because of the position of the wings play could be used here. Grant it this call should be reviewable. I don't understand how some calls can be reviewable and others not, what is the point to that rule? In my opinion all plays should be reviewable.
ReplyDeleteBut in the end the annoncer is correct when he says "this rule is a gray area". The call could easily go either way. I can't say I believe that there is a conspericy out there, more of the officiating just plain sucks. For every team. But its not against just Detroit.
