Poll Monday

Here are this week's poll. Yale is finally not getting a vote for first anymore. I still want to know who that joker is. Also, the ECAC teams except for Cornell have fallen a bit.

  1. Goon, I am a Bemidji guy, but 7th in the country? Really? What do you think of this conspiracy, the pollsters move BSU up to 7th so that if Minnesota sweeps them this weekend, they can justify moving the Gophers back in the rankings for beating the 7th ranked team? What do you think?

  2. What's even dumber is Michigan in sixth with a 4-4 record, Notre Dame in eighth with a 5-4-1 record and worst of all Boston University in 17th place with a 2-5 record. Merrimack should be rated ahead of BU.

Polls are a bunch of crap!

  3. I do think Alaska should be rated higher.

  4. Goon, after spending all of last year flipping out about Air Force being ranked after playing no one, I'd expected the same level of outrage about Bemidji in the exact same situation.

  5. Due to the fact of the high level of mediocrity in college hockey this season I will hold out judgement until they play the Gophers and then see how it goes. BSU is also my second favorite teams so I am cool with it. I do have a problem with Cornell being ranked so high.

  6. Charles Alaska might deserve a higher ranking based on who they have beaten.

  7. I'm a huge BSU guy, and I am ok with the ranking. I think this weekend will be the true test. Plus, its not always who you beat, but how you beat them.

  8. Goon, you said Miami was your second favorite team. I'm disappointed... :)
