Bruins put Habs on the brink.

Nothing would be more pleasing to me than to see the Boston Bruins beat/eliminate the Montreal Canadiens in their 100th year of existence. For the Boston Bruins Phil Kessel remains hot against the Habs as he got his third goal of the series and his seventh goal in 5 games against the Hab's. Actually make that ten point in his last five games against Les Habs.

Now it's a matter of how many games it takes the Bruins to close out the Habs. This season the Bruins have owned the Hab's going 8-0-1 losing one game in a shootout.

  1. I think the Habs find a way to get a win in Game 4. They don't want to get swept, especially in their own building. All it does is delay the inevitable though. This series might not be over on paper, but it's over in terms of the realistic sense. Big series for Phil Kessel. That guy is instant offense whenever he's out there. It'll be interesting to see what happens when Lucic returns to the lineup. I know it's early, but who do you think is the ideal second-round matchup for the Bruins? The Rangers, Flyers, or Canes?

  2. I don't see it. The Bruins have dominated the Habs. I think the Habs best chance to win was last night.
