Here is the latest addition from the Bracketology Blog: I swear Jason Moy has had the Fighting Sioux in every bracket but the North East Regional. I don't see the NCAA sending us anywhere but Minneapolis if the Gophers don't make the NCAA playoffs.
East Regional (Bridgeport)
15 Air Force vs. 1 Boston University
9 Yale vs. 6 Vermont
West Regional (Minneapolis)
16 Bemidji State vs. 2 Notre Dame
11 Miami vs. 7 North Dakota
Northeast Regional (Manchester)
13 St. Lawrence vs. 3 Denver
10 Cornell vs. 8 New Hampshire
Midwest Regional (Grand Rapids)
13 Minnesota-Duluth vs. 4 Michigan
12 Princeton vs. 5 Northeastern
The NCAA won't assign North Dakota just because it's close. It hasn't used that philosophy since 2002. Geography has no bearing on anyone but the top seeds. North Dakota will be matched up according to the serpentine ordering of the seeds, to align with the logical No. 1 seed - if possible.
