Doug Risebrough's latest blunder.

Check out the latest comment by Wild General Manager Doug Riesebrough talk about mismanaging a National Hockey League team. No one should wonder why the Wild are floundering and will miss the playoffs this season. Pouliot has been a bust since he has been with the Wild and should have been released.

The Road for the Wild gets even tougher as they will play 14 of 17 games on the road.
Wild General Manager Doug Risebrough admitted keeping Pouliot on the roster following training camp was "a bad mistake."

"He wasn't ready," Risebrough said. "You get to a point when a player's not succeeding [with the Wild] ... it's better to put him down."

  1. I've never understood Pouliot on this team. He has tremendous skill but imo, the coaching staff has really screwed up his head from day one. i really don't know why they drafted him. he's an offensive guy being forced into a different player. why take him in the first round is my question.

Goon, you are right, just another f-up by DR and another reason why i'll never get behind this money grubbing organization that still acts like it's year 2 from expansion.

The Wild Suck! The Gophers Suck! The only good thing Minnesota hockey has is good HS kids that can make their way onto a Sioux roster, win, and go play in the NHL. God knows the Wild wouldn't draft them. Let's see, there are many college players in the NHL make huge impacts right now, just look at New Jersey, Buffalo, and Chicago. The Wild have shown they don't like US players and college players. Who would you rather have, Lamorello or Reiser??? :)

  2. I just don't know how Doug Risebrough is here past this season. Risebrough has run the Wild into the ground and there is nothing in Houston or Minnesota that they can even trade for.

It is going to take the Wild two to three seasons to dig out of the hole that D.R. has put them in. The good news is J.L. is probably done as coach after this season. Maybe Gabby will resign?
