Did Lucia Suspend Schack?

The line up is posted over on Gopher-luv-feast.com and public enemy number one Brian the Hack Schack was not on today's Gopher line card. So did Lucia do the right thing and suspend Brian Schack or with Fischer back from an injury is Schack a victim of the numbers game since is the least talented of the Gophers defensemen. If Brian the Hack Shack was supspended I applaud coach Lucia's decision.

Calling the game more closely

Notice after last weekend melt down in Minneapolis and Mankato the WCHA refs Marco Hunt and Derek Shepherd are calling the game in Minneapolis more closer to the vest. It would appear that Lucia's discussion with the refs this weekend might have gotten the leagues attention that they need to do a better job officiating.

    I think SCHACK the hack was a victim of the numbers game and isn't good enough to play when they got all of their defenders back.

    I am a Golden Gopher fan and I LOVE the fact that all of the wcha bloggers make such a big deal about everything the Gophers do! Other than the fact that you come off as having a chip on your shoulder (and have a heavy anti-Gopher bias), it is very entertaining. Keep it up!

    P.S. It is a treat to watch the younger predominantly Minnesotan team compete against the older skaters from Canada and elsewhere!
