Trip down memory lane.

I have to say that I wait for this match up every year. Its one of the more exciting series of the year, you know what your going to get when the hated "M" comes to town.

Of course over the years there have been a few great memories between our two storied hockey programs. The first video shown above is still funny to this day. I have only seen one other goal that was scored from that distance and it was by former Bruin defenseman Ray Bourque from about the same distance against a team that I can no longer recall. Nothing like a good fight between two willing combatants. It is a know fact that Gopher players don't liek to drop the gloves very often. Unless they are standing behind their coach in the hand shake line. Honestly, I don't expect too much of this kind of stuff this weekend. This Fighting Sioux hockey team doesn't ussually play that type of game.
