I know it is from it is a little late and this is the coaches show from last week but I finally just listened to this pod cast yesterday. There are some interesting points of interest. It was interesting to hear Dane Jackson's point of view on a few issues.
*18:00 minutes into the podcast Dane address a callers question about the reffing in the WCHA and that legal hits are being called. Dane said that the coaches will tell the guys to back it off during a game if they coaches a certain ref is going to make calls. The UND coaches staff tries to recruit a more balanced line up, skilled players, hard nosed. They tried to look ahead to the future.
*26:30 Dane couldn't believe that when he got back to the WCHA how much obstruction was let go. Tim Hennesy said that the WCHA was the last league to catch on and call the games more tighter.
*30:54 TH asks Dane about Notre Dame getting a new arena are they concerned? Dane says that we don't go head to head with recruits with Notre Dame. Early Recruiting has changed the way things are done now. They talk about recruiting kids at such a young age.
*33:30 You can't take em all (recruits) Tim and Dane discuss the subject of over recruitment. Now programs are projecting as opposed to evaluating talent.
