Monday morning Linkorama.

If Sioux fans think things are tough for the Sioux, MSU has lost 6 games in a row. In fact this is the longest losing streak since 1981 for MSU.

The Michigan Wolverines are having a hard time deciding which sieve is going to be their number one goalie because both Billy Sauer and Bryan Hogan are playing well in net right now. Their problem is offense, they are having trouble scoring.

The Miami Redhawks won their 4th game in a row and after sweeping the Michigan Wolverines in Oxford, Ohio this past weekend. The Redhawks now have swept Notre Dame, Michigan State and Michigan this season already. That is an impressive feat.

Still nothing to report in the Marian Gaborik saga, still hurt, still no contract or trade. Gabby is still skating by himself and isn't going to come back until he is 100%.

In this weeks Charlie Waters don't print that column there is a rumor of Marian Gaborik being traded to the New Jersey Devils for a package deal that includes Former Fighting Sioux Zach Parise. Yeah and I am going to win the lottery and quit my day job.

Are you confused after reading this article by Shooter? Wouldn't it be easier to say, "we have no clue when Gaborik is coming back." As soon as we hear something we will let you know. You have to wonder if this guy went to the Sid Hartman school of journalism.

Gaborik isn't going to talk to the media until he plays.

In last night's game between the Canadians and the Bruins, Habs thug/though guy/hack Georges Laraque's job was to get into a fight with Bruins forward Milan Lucic. In the previous Bruins and Habs game Lucic worked former Michigan player Mike Komisarek like a clown and Komisarek ended getting injured druing the fight. During Saturday's game the Habs were looking for some pay back. Lucic didn't end up fighting Laraque because his coach told him not to fight.

(From the same article) Former Michigan Star and current Boston Bruins defenseman Matt Hunwick has a four-game point streak after scoring a goal in Saturday's game against the Habs.

Far be it from me to give a Golden Gopher much credit but Joe Finley's favorite dance partner Blake Wheeler beat beat goalie Carey Price during the shoot out to give the Bruins their first regular season win in Montreal since Dec. 4, 2006.

Former Boston College Eagle and New Jersey Devil Mike Mottau has been suspended for two games by the NHL.

Here is the Sioux and Bulldogs game through the eyes of a Bulldog fan.

This is the same blogger that brutalized me earlier this week in the Gauntlet. Yeah that was as much fun as a root canal.

  1. This just gives CHN all the more reason to crown Miami.

  2. I would never watch another NHL game as long as I live if Parise went to the Mild. Most boring brand of hockey ever. I can't belive Minnesotans pay money to see that garbage. The X must be the hip place to be.

  3. I think you mean INCH, CHN doesn't do rankings. I like CHN I think they do a good job but INCH is a joke.

  4. I don't know if you remember but last year Adam Wodon wrote an article for CHN and gave Miami their blessing, alot of comments were left calling out the CCHA for being weak blah, blah...was just making light of that.

INCH's PWR rankings I really don't take to seriously, just fodder...but I still read it anyway.

  5. Hextall,
I would call CCHA one of the weaker conferences this season.

I remember everyone kissing Miami's but last season. It was ridiculous.

  6. To be fair, Miami did give BC their toughest game in the tournament... I don't think their as good this year though mainly because the CCHA isn't as good this year. They're probably the 4th best conference.

  7. The only reason the Wild would consider bringing in Parise, is maybe, just maybe enough UND fans might go to the games?? I don't know, but Parise is/will become a bright spot in the NHL, and last time I watched the Wild (Saturday night) they didn't look like a very offensive gifted team. Maybe Parise, and some fresh faces could help that. (Biggest thing would be to get Jacquesy Baby out of there with his defense wins games theories..)

  8. Aren't they still selling out every game?? I thought thats why management wasn't spending money to change from a team that could make the playoffs, to a team that could win the cup. What's the payoff if your still selling out every game? Not fair to the fans but I've heard there's some truth to it.
