Here is an interesting conversation that took place on Paul Allen's show this morning
with Jess Meyers from Inside College Hockey (about 11 minutes in). Pretty much the same stuff when Jeff Dubay "aka Puffy" was on the show, the usual Gophers love feast and the obligatory shot at UND. True to form Jess defends his 7th place finish prediction and then Jess didn't even know the name of the goalie from UND Brad Eidsness.
Jess Myers knows about as much about college hockey as PA does....not much. The only good thing that site has is the "found on a coctail napkin."

ReplyDeleteI had hopes that PA would get somebody better for the slot and I don't want more Kevin Gorg. Dubay was the perfect villain for Sioux fans and added to the rivalries of all teams in the league. Actually, I don't know about his experience on radio but Brad Schlossman has more intelligent takes on college hockey than 90% of the guys on "unbiased" college hockey sites/blogs. Of course, you can say,"homer," but many fans of opposing teams agree with me.
