Yep; no one else does it.

In case any of HALO wearers thinks that fights don't happen in college hockey take a look at this collection of COLLEGE HOCKEY fights that I have compilled.

This is a recent fight that happened last season in Duluth between Mavericks and Duluth I wonder if Chris Dilks colored himself surprised.

Seems George Gwozdecky has forgot that even his teams have managed to gets involved in the fights as well. Oops, seem as if it was the same player J.P. Testwuide gets mixed up with a Gopher player Ben Gordon.

Funny its not just the WCHA schools, it's also the CCHA schools as well.

Even the Ivy League schools do it as well as the AHA schools.

This has to be one of the best college hockey fights I have seen; Scott Williams thinks so as well.

  1. Yes Goonster...some college hockey teams or players do get into fights...not just almost every damn series like your Dirty Sioux!!

Hello! Take off your kelly green glasses and see the light. Do you think it's "by chance" that UND is in all these fights or has issues in every dang series?!?

I must admit though, you and your fellow Sioux fans are getting creative when pointing the finger at others and making up excuses!! :)

  2. Also, what you don't see on the Mankato fight link is that punk Stalock sucker punching our guy from behind/side and that's what caused the whole thing.

Plus, Justin Morneau was at the game...so the Mavs had to show him a good time:)

  3. Plus you had to dig into LAST SEASON to find a fight to make this argument. If the last fight tUMD players got into was over a year ago, then I think that's kind of a stupid argument. If collegehockeystats was working right now I'd see if we've gotten any fighting majors at all this year.

  5. As you can tell I am just being silly.

Of course It wasn't just this year it just proving that fighting isn't a really that uncommon of a thing.

How much you want to bet the reffing will get better sooner or later.

I think fighting is fun to watch, however, hitting a player laying on the ice is not part of the code.

  6. Nice attempt at a cover up Goon! I don't think you were kidding at all but now you're trying to cover it up when RWD and I are calling you out on it:)

  8. Here's a quote from Gwozdecky in the Denver Post:

""In a game like that, and to have that break out, was disturbing," Gwozdecky said. "I thought the officials that were very prompt earlier when Testwuide and Radke got into it, were very prompt in jumping in and breaking that up.

"And yet, in this instance with Radke and Vossberg, they did the exact opposite. (talking about the officials) I was very worried about Brandon. He was certainly on the wrong end of receiving those punches."

I'm not a big fan of fighting in hockey. However, it looks like Gwaaaaz is more upset that his boy got his ass kicked than he is that the fight even happened.
