GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- The University of North Dakota athletic department is pleased to announce that the Fighting Sioux Sports Network telecast of the men's hockey series at Minnesota Duluth will be available as a video webcast on FightingSioux.com. Viewers can watch the broadcast with their Sioux Xtra subscription.
The broadcast is being produced by WDAZ in conjunction with UND athletics, the Fighting Sioux Sports Network and Midcontinent Communications.
~UND has a 13 game unbeaten streak, Some in the Minneapolis media have suggested that UMD will be a cake walk.Nothing could be further from the truth as I predict a dog fight for these weekend games.
~Look for the Mavericks to beat the Tigers this weekend.
~The WCHA is looking pretty good as far as Pairwise Ratings goes. There is a good chance that 5 teams will make the NCAA tourney. Currently there are 8 WCHA teams fighting for an NCAA tourney bid.
so you think we'll get beaten this weekend huh? For the sake of my credibility in my little interview on the Mavs site I hope we don't! It will be tough though, especially the second night. I'm looking forward to DU, CC, ND and some unfortunate 4th team to go at it in Minneapolis for the B-moor trophy!
ReplyDeleteBe thankful I didn't pick you guys to sweep, LOL, I have been really doing a bad job of picking teams to sweep,(SCSU and MSU-M come to mind) I tend to JINX them ask Win Twins and Amy. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't If your team loses or not but I think MSU-M is going to be a bear. I do know UND WON'T catch the Tigers. I would bet a beer on it.
I am really getting excited to go the Final Five, I am getting cabin fever and I was thinking about the final five today when I was out walking the dog, the spring is almost here.

ReplyDeleteWinona Minnesota, thats, home to Winona State University and one of my buddies from Bemidji went to school there and he told it was 5 girls to every guy on campus. :)
I guess he had to live in a female dorm because there wasn't any housing left. Talk about a bad issue to have eh? :)
