Its better to be the hammer than the nail
Don Cherry would be happy with this hit because it is a sweet hit that is worthy of being in a rock em sock em hockey videos. This is the type of hockey UND needs to play to be successful in the playoffs. Nice to see T.J. Oshie getting after it, I think he bounced back nicely after his screw up a couple of weeks back. This is the little things a team has to do to be successful. I can't wait for this weekends games against the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks, its going to be more of the same type of play.

TJ is by far the best player I've seen that can deliver an hit when someone's out to check him while he has the puck.
ReplyDeleteHe's just getting back in his form after being injured on a cross check in Denver. (No call, although according to Hakstol it happened right in front of the referee.)
That was a good hit, Gwilliam shouldn't be going down like that with as big as he is. Oh well, so was the weekend. I can't wait til Oshie can actually get the shit beaten out of him though, I'll watch the Blues just to see it ;)
