WCHA Player of the Year – Jack Connolly Minnesota Duluth, I think he is the best players in the WCHA.
WCHA Defensive Player of the Year – Justin Schultz Wisconsin, hands down one of the best offensive talents in the WCHA. Oh yeah and he is a defenseman. Also, one of the most prolific offensive defensemen that I have seen for a very long time.
WCHA Rookie of the Year – Kyle Rau, Minnesota, Roco Grimaldi was hurt so we will never get to find out how these two great players would have stacked up against each other.
WCHA Coach of the Year – Dave Hakstol, University of North Dakota, I think with all of the "adversity" that coach Hakstol's team has faced (Defections, season ending injuries), I think that Hakstol has done some of his best coaching this season.
*WCHA Goaltender of the Year – Kent Patterson, Minnesota, I don't think that this selection needs a lot of narration.
