My opinion is that Nelson gave him a little tap, Guentzel felt it coming and dropped to his knees and took the hit. You don't go down like that when you know there's a guy right there.
That being said I don't blame Don Adam (the devil incarnate)a bit for making the call. I don't know what else he was supposed to do. From Nelson's shoulders you can see that he gave Guentzel s shot and with contact like that to the boards the call had to be made.
