Updated Kessel Rumor.

Here is the latest Phil Kessel Rumor, I can't wait till the draft at 18:00 hours on Versus, then we wil find out how this plays out.
MONTREAL -- The respected Canadian sports website, tsn.ca, just now amended what it believes to be Boston's offer to Toronto to acquire veteran blueliner Tomas Kaberle.

According to tsn's report early this morning, the Bruins offered Phil Kessel to the Leafs for Kaberle and Toronto's top pick, No. 7 overall, in tonight's amateur draft.

Now, according to tsn, the Bruins have offered Kessel and a draft pick of their own (not a first-rounder) for the 31-year-old Czech-born blueliner.

About two hours prior to tsn reporting the change, one rumor making the rounds here had the Stars offering thrid-year blueliner Matt Niskanen and thier top pick tonight (No. 8 overall) for Kaberle.

Kessel out for the weekend.

Bruins forward Phil Kessel is out of the line up with weekend as he has an undisclosed injury. If we find out what the injury is we will let you know.
Winger Phil Kessel will miss a weekend road swing with an undisclosed injury, said coach Claude Julien after today's practice.

Kessel stands to miss that games against Toronto (tomorrow) and Philadelphia (Sunday). In keeping with the club's close-to-the-vest policy regarding injuries, Julien did not offer any details.

Bruin's fan vote for the seventh player award.

Ah yes! You got to love the Boston Bruin's homer announcer from NESN, Jack Edwards. Bruins fans it's that time again you can click here to vote for the NESN's Bruin's 7th Player Award. Last year’s award was won by goaltender and former Vermont Catamount Tim Thomas.

This season my pick for the 7th player award is Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic. In my opinion Milian Lucic is becoming a more complete player that can fight, hit, and score. Lucic has been compared by some to former Boston Bruin Cam Neely because of this style of play. This season Lucic has played in 58 games and has scored 13 goals – 22 assists and 35 points and already surpassed last season’s point total by 8 points.

Also, Gopher’s fans you can vote for their favorite former Gophers players Blake Wheeler and Phil Kessel.
