What's the difference between basketball and hockey? O.K., the former is an event where fans and players stand around and watch free throws and the latter is continuous excitement. What I mean is this: hockey goes from squirts or whatever to midgets to high school to USHL to college or juniors to pros; basketball goes from high school to college to pros. Why the difference? Why isn't there a USHL for basketball? Do community colleges occupy that role? Or maybe junior colleges? I wonder what the numbers are.

ReplyDeleteI really have no idea, I think that there might be AAU summer leagues for Basketball but I don't know. Actually I am not a fan of BB at all.
