Wild Rumors.

Eklund "The Anonymous Hockey Blogger" has this latest rumor involving Ilya Kovalchuk and Marian Gaborik. I am not sure what the Wild would have to trade to get Ilya Kovalchuk? Personally it isn't that great of a move because Kovalchuk is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. It will be interesting to see what comes out of this. It could be like a lot of the other Eklund rumors mere speculation that doesn't come to fruition.
The Minnesota Wild are looking hard at Kovalchuk as well, but Gaborik is NOT involved in that deal I am told. The Wild are talking Gaborik with the Islanders, Canadiens, Kings, and Penguins.

  1. Sending him to Pittsburgh would be a good move, especially since he's crying that he isn't being paid enough. I would laugh hysterically to see three players being paid $8 million+ in Pittsburgh

  2. I am so sick of Maryanne Gaborik I would rather see him traded for a bag of puck then watch him fuss about his contract. As far as I am concerned he screwed himself by not taking the 8 million a year.

    Prima-donna.
