TRADE RUMOURS -- The Ottawa Sun dredges up more Ilya Kovalchuk trade rumours, which prompted an immediate and vehement denial from Thrashers GM Don Waddell. The Edmonton Journal chimed in, though, wondering if the Oilers would give up Shawn Horcoff, Tom Gilbert, Andrew Cogliano and a first-round pick to get him. Wouldn't the Thrashers at least consider that?

*Former Fighting Sioux Jason Blake is currently on fire with 6 points in his last 3 games.

  1. From the lockeroom buzz I heard, prior to Osh getting hurt during the Pittsburgh game, before that game Pitt had Osh listed as the #2 Forward to watch on the board, right behind Andy McDonald.. Osh later scored in the game, but later was fallen on, and subsequently hurt...

The buzz before that though according to some was that even though Osh didn't have the points he was garnering a lot of the teams attention. (Insane considering it was only his 10th game of the season)

Shocked to even see he still made the list considering he's been out, and all but forgotten about by some in the media..
