Atlantic Hockey
Sacred Heart 1 at Air Force 7
Canisius 2 at Bentley 4
American Int'l 0 at Holy Cross 3
Army 3 at Mercyhurst 6
RIT 5 at Connecticut 4

Analysis
This is the schedule that Air Force has played to date (it is not impressive at all): Sacred Heart 2-8-2 (x4), Bemidji State University 3-7-0 (x2), American International 3-9-0 (x2), Bentley 5-4-1 (x2), Holy Cross 3-7-1 (x2). So the cumulative record of teams that Air Force has played is (16-35-4) The real test for the Falcons will be when they play C.C. and DU in back to back games. I don't see them winning either game.

Merrimack 1 at Maine 1 ot

Analysis
Gittle from Yardbarker wrote: BU is 1-3 after being number one, including a home sweep at the hands of UVM. Nobody had gone onto Comm Ave and swept a series in 16 years, but it happened. Not only that, but the 1992 team was the Maine national champion juggernaut that only lost one game all season, and I would not put the Catamounts in the same stratosphere. I would have to agree UVM is no where near the 1992 Maine Black Bears team.

Northeastern rolling along at (9-2-2). UMass splits with Boston College.

WCHA
North Dakota 1 at Minnesota-Duluth 3
Minnesota 0 at Denver 4
Wisconsin 1 at St. Cloud State 0
Minnesota State 4 at Michigan Tech 2
Colorado College 4 at Alaska-Anchorage 3 ot

Analysis
Splits-ville in Saint Cloud, Anchorage and Denver. The Purple Cows from MSU-M beat the real Huskies twice in the Houghton, Michigan.

Non-Conference
Robert Morris 4 at Lake Superior 3
Alabama-Huntsville 2 at Yale 6

  1. Air Force probably will go 0-2 next weekend, but I think that's more because CC and DU are really good, not that Air Force isn't. I mean take a look what they did in the last two NCAA Tournaments, they obviously have a good program going.

  2. I would respectfully disagree with you, I would be willing to bet that Air Force nothing more than a middle of the road team or lower in any of the big three conferences. HEA, WCHA, CCHA.

Look at who the Falcons played (no one), UND would be 12-0-0 against those teams and the fans would be screaming oh your team is feasting on cup cakes.

  3. If any WCHA team had the schedule Air Farce has, they'd be 12-0, but not considered a contender yet, as they haven't played anyone good yet. BSU, is probably the best team, and even they aren't that great this year..

I hate to say it, as I love Eisenhauer AFB more then anyone, (lived close to the Academy) but over rated they are..
