The brackets as we have set them up:
West Regional:
St. Lawrence vs. Notre Dame
Vermont vs. Denver
Midwest Regional:
Bemidji State vs. Minnesota
Michigan vs. Clarkson
East Regional:
Michigan State vs. St. Cloud
North Dakota vs. Maine
Northeast Regional:
Sacred Heart vs. New Hampshire
Boston University vs. Colorado College
It looks like Denver would have the easiest route to the Frozen Four if these were the final brackets. Minnesota would have to face Michigan but they have beaten them soundly already, would probably be a well attended regional. Could be an all WCHA Frozen Four again. Look for many changes before tourney time. The Fighting Sioux did well last time they were sent out east.
