Same Sieve Different Year.

Sieve, Sieve, Sieve...
I thought I might as well get the smack talking going, this one is for Slap Shot. Its been way too civil and I am getting tired of ripping the refs so I will move on to a new subject, ah, lets the do the Gophers goaltending. Incase anyone has forgotten this is the same Sieve that lost to Holy Cross just a different year. Its funny how the media in Minneapolis has tried to paint a picture of how Kellin Briggs is this great goalie. Personally it kind of reminds me of the Grand Forks print and radio media talking about some of our players. You know the same old story on and on about Kellin being a goalie for the ages if not statisically the best goalie of all time. Snicker, not much of an endorsement of Minnesota's goalies is it? I am sorry Stauber was one of the best goalies Minnesota ever had and Briggs isn't worthy of sniffing his jock.

One last point, some are going to come on here and tell me about how poor of a goalie Lammy is. Well it probably is a valid point, until recently he hadn't played well this year. However the numbers don't lie, for his career Philippe Lamoureux 2.36 GAA and a .911 save percentage on the other side of the ice Briggs has a career GAA of 2.43 and a save percentage of .908. Flame away come on here and discuss it with me.

  2. I know I hate blogger too. I am so ready for this series to begin. I am sick and tired of being lectured about how much the Sioux suck. I wish that MSUM would have knocked them down a peg.

  3. Me too. I'm always wanting the Mavs to knock off people.

I could have screamed when blogger ate up my comment. What I posted was about my emotionally damaging lunch today at a hunting preserve. I'm still disturbed. I can handle elk, deer, stuff like that dead on a wall...but this place had a giraffe and a zebra. I almost freaked out when I saw that! Who the hell kills those sort of animals? Then most of the menu items were elk, pheasant, wild crap. Thank god for fish! This place is well known for good food, but no way in hell was I eating some wild game...especially after seeing all of those dead animals all over.

Let's just say it wasn't a pleasant lunch. I'll probably have nightmares about it tonight.

  4. Wild game rocks, I just took my two deer in for processing. Getting Terriaki sticks and Cheese polish sausages(sp).

I hate the new blogger programs, you can finally put pictures up through picasa again. When beta was released you couldn't I emailed Blogger and never got a response back. Now its finally working.

  5. P.S. I would have tried the elk. Much better than beef in my opinion.

  6. I've actually eaten elk and it's not bad...nice and lean.

I had the flu bug the past 2 days, so the first "real" food I was going to try was NOT going to be wild anything...and my stomach wasn't ready for all the dead things, that's for sure. I seriously almost teared up at the zebra and giraffe...but my boss was with, so I couldn't seem like a wuss in front of him.

I haven't switched bloggers yet. I'm not sure how to do a slide screen, so I'll have to play with that after my trip to Madison this weekend...because I want to put a slide up of pix from our trip.

  7. I have been lucky this year and last I got a flu shot so I have been flu free.

No clue on how to do a slide show.
I am just figuring out my digital camera I got for Christmas.

Madison would be a blast, I am hoping the Mavs can lay some smack down on the dirty Badgers this weekend. I remember last year the Mavs pounded on the BADgers during the second half of the season in Mankato.
