This guys is awesome
I think he is one of the best announcers in all of hockey. My favorite one is when a Sabre scores a goale top shelf, Rick say, "up in the top self where momma keeps the cookies". Enjoy the clips its classic stuff from a future hall a fame announcer. Or at least in Goon's world. Listening to Rick sure beats listening to Frank Mazzocco.
Here is some more classic Rick Generett. Unforunately they are playing the Hurricanes in this clip again, no I am not picking on the Canes but it seems that Carolina has had trouble with Buffalo this season. Buffalo was really skating well and the announcer was really getting into the game. This guy makes watching hockey games fun. The best one is Paul Gaustad his third goal in the last three games the Goose is really honking.
